2025 Wedding Trends

I will start this post by saying that although trends can offer inspiration and ideas we can find helpful in the planning process, I do encourage couples not to get too wrapped up in what's trending and what’s not. The most important influence on your design for your big day should be what makes you as a couple most ‘you’. But, with that being said, let’s move onto five popular themes and ideas predicted for this coming year!

1. Content creators

Content creators have really taken off in popularity, particularly for those couples wanting that unedited, authentic moments from the day captured. Whereas the content you would typically see from photographers and videographers tends to be just snippets and more polished snippets at that. The footage from content creators may be angled towards social media use for some couples, or it may just be the desire to have as much footage capturing those moments purely for personal use!

2. Wedding Dress Styles

Wedding dress styles cover such a wide variety, but some less traditional options are definitely having their moment. For example, many couples are expected to go for bespoke wedding attire - little white dresses or jumpsuits are definitely holding their own (particularly for a second evening look), and floral designs when it comes to dresses are also having a moment, drawing inspiration from nature. It is also becoming more common for brides to opt for multiple looks during their big day, giving brides the opportunity to factor in different styles.

3. Bold colours

In 2024 we saw mismatched bridesmaid dresses gain popularity and I have to say I love that look! Also gaining in popularity is the use of brighter and bolder colour schemes more generally. Think bold bridal bouquets! I think this brings so much opportunity to inject some personality into the design of your day and create a real visual work of art when guests enter the room!

4. Grazing tables

Grazing tables are the 2025 buffet! From a design angle these can look pretty impressive and give guests the option of picking and choosing as they wish. This could be a good option to consider as a dessert alternative!

In your planning journey with me, we would work closely together to tie in those factors you consider most important in your day- there might be elements that have come from trends you have seen and love and really sing to your vision for your day and I will also make suggestions based on our initial conversations. But I will always encourage you to bring it back to being authentically ‘you’ and ensure we have fun along the way!
